"Painting outside allows me to convey the emotions tied to the landscape rather than merely reproducing what I see. This experience is challenging to achieve from a photograph taken in a studio setting. I truly cherish my time in nature. Although it often feels like I'm battling the elements, which can be quite overwhelming at times, the artwork I produce en plein air always seems to possess a vibrant, liberated quality," she explains.
